Applying for a vision impaired travel pass

People with impaired vision can apply to travel free on Adelaide Metro buses, trains and trams using a travel pass. 

How to apply

Step 1: Download and complete the application for a travel pass for a person with vision impairment. 

A medical certificate from an ophthalmologist, optometrist or a medical practitioner is required.

Applications must be accompanied by two passport-sized colour photographs certified by a Justice of the Peace, police officer, bank manager, medical practitioner or minister of religion.

Step 2: Return the completed application form, photograph and any other supporting documents required to:

Successful applicants will receive information explaining how to use the pass and a photo-identification card that must be carried when using public transport.
