Agents who are members of the Real Estate Institute of South Australia (REISA) can earn two points towards Certified Practising Member (CPM) accreditation for each session attended.

Scheduling and venues

  1. Dates for sessions will be set once sufficient enrolments are received.
  2. Once a date is set confirmation of placement will be sent in writing.

Managing your rental property

Aimed at landlords, this session covers: 

  • the rights and responsibilities of landlords 
  • types of leases 
  • additional conditions 
  • bond lodgement 
  • rent records and receipts 
  • maintenance and repairs 
  • inspection sheets 
  • water readings 
  • exclusions 
  • right of entry 
  • the Residential Tenancies Tribunal.

Managing breaches by a tenant

Aimed at agents and private landlords this session covers: 

  • tenants breaching the conditions of their lease 
  • types of breaches
  • what to do when things go wrong 
  • serving a valid breach notice
  • applying to the Residential Tenancies Tribunal 
  • enforcing a decision of the Residential Tenancies Tribunal.
