The proposal

The proposed major development is for a Bulk Export Facility at Port Bonython, near Whyalla, on the Eyre Peninsula.

It comprises:
  • wharf/jetty structures and ship loading systems
  • storage buildings and facilities for ore
  • a rail connecting site with the existing Port Augusta-Whyalla line.
