2/06/2009 5:24:07 PM The Self Insurers of South Australia (SISA) is an incorporated association (Employer Managed Workers Compensation Association Inc.) which represents some 65 of South Australia's largest employers from both private and public sectors, totalling 40% of the State's workforce.
It is the only body recognised under the South Australian Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act to represent Self-Insured Employers. SISA has a responsibility to provide its member organisations with assistance and support in implementing cost effective programs in the prevention and management of workplace injuries.
Its objectives are to promote, develop and support the interests of members by communication and liaison with WorkCover, Government, United Trades and Labour Council and other kindred organisations in regard to employer managed workers compensation.
