Polycarbonate sheeting in bushfire protection areas

Using polycarbonate sheeting in bushfire protection areas

Polycarbonate sheeting is only permitted on verandahs, carports and garages in bushfire protection areas if the buildings are at least six metres away from a dwelling.

If you plan to use polycarbonate sheeting on any of these buildings approval is possible but it is a good idea to discuss the use of it with the building surveyor who will be checking your application.
