Qualifications issued by registered training organisations, universities and other tertiary institutions in Australia are regulated through the
Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
For professional, vocational and other educational qualifications to be recognised in Australia, they must be listed in the AQF.
List of AQF qualifications
The table contains the qualifications listed in the AQF. These are recognised throughout the country.

Assessment of overseas qualifications
To help qualified individuals from overseas continue their study in Australia or join the workforce
Australian Education International can assess overseas qualifications and provide a guide to their equivalent on the Australian Qualifications Framework. Assessments are provided for higher education, post-secondary technical and vocational qualifications.
