People you can talk with

Your local GP is a good place to start and they can refer you to any specialist services that you may need.

SHine SA offers a therapeutic counselling service by professional sexual health counsellors for individuals, couples and families.

If you want to talk to someone about your sexual health but feel more at ease with a phone conversation than face-to-face contact, you can:

  • phone the Sexual Healthline on 1300 883 793
  • or if you live in country South Australia - phone 1800 188 171 for free.

Sexual Healthline nurses are able to put you in contact with health services in your area if ongoing support is needed.
